Recent years have seen rapid advances in various grid-related technologies, middleware, and applications. The 3rd ChinaGrid Annual Conference (ChinaGrid 2008) is to be held from August 20 to 22, 2007 in Dunhuang, Gansu, China. Located in the Ancient City, Dunhuang, which is world-widely known for its most worthy of scenery, such as Mogao Grottoes (also known as the Dunhuang Grottoes), Crescent Moon Spring and the Singing Sand Mountains, as well as other charming natural beauty. ChinaGrid 2008 is hosted by ChinaGrid Working Group, and is undertaken by Lanzhou University.
ChinaGrid 2008 will be a stimulating forum for researchers and practitioners in related fields, where people get together to exchange ideas, experiences, and up-to-date grid technological advances as well as its application in Chinagrid Project. We invite the submission of papers related to various aspects of grid computing and its real-life applications.

Submission Instruction
All papers must be unpublished and should not be under simultaneous review for any other conferences and workshops. Papers must be written in English.Submissions must be in an electronic form as PDF or Word files and should be uploaded using the conference submission website.
Final author manuscripts will be 8.5" x 11" (two columns IEEE format), not exceeding 8 pages; max 2 extra pages allowed at additional cost. Helpful information for paper formatting can be found on the IEEE Authors Tools or here.
Important Dates
- Deadline of paper submission: April, 7, 2008
- Notification of acceptance/rejection: April, 30, 2008
- Camera Ready and Registration Deadline: May, 20, 2008 camera ready paper guideline
Publication
All submitted papers will be reviewed by program committee members and selected based on their originality, significance, relevance, and clarity of presentation. Accepted papers will be published in the IEEE categorized conference proceedings. Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit a revised and expanded version of their papers to be considered for publication in special issues of well-known international journals.
